Tetanus Antitoxin is an immunoglobulin preparation obtained from hyperimmunized horses (horse or equine antitoxin) from which the Fc portion has been removed enzymatically (despeciation) to reduce the incidence of side effects such as serum sickness and hypersensitivity reactions.
